David M. Forrester, Jr., age 44 of Clairton, passed away at home Tuesday, January 17, 2023.  Born July 5, 1978 in Pittsburgh, he was the beloved son of David M. Forrester Sr. who preceded him in death, and Beverly M. (Bahila) Hutchinson of Clairton.  David affectionately known as Dave, attended Clairton High School. He was a member of the Teamsters Union # 1058 and drove for Steel City Trucking.  Dave was an avid pool player and regularly attended pool leagues and tournament play.  He enjoyed camping, travelling, and outdoor activities.  Dave collected all things big and small and enjoyed having a good laugh.  He was a self-taught mechanic known to be able to fix anything.  He especially loved Fourth of July fireworks with his family.   Dave is survived by his mother Beverly (Brian) Hutchison of Clairton; his daughters Davae and Destini Forrester, and their mother the late Ashley McLaughlin, and Brooklyn and Josephine Forrester, and their mother Misty Laverick of Clairton; his sister Christina (Bruce) Montgomery of Baltimore; his uncles Eugene (Michaelene) Forrester, James (Dot) Forrester, and Richard (Ginger) Tracey; hisniece and nephews Danielle, Carvonne, Nathan, Carson, Noah, Cash and Julus; and also a multitude of cousins, close family, and friends.

Elizabeth (Betty) Marie Andriko

Elizabeth (Betty) Marie Andriko (née Evanish), 97, died January 17, 2023.

Born November 15, 1925 in Turtle Creek, PA to Nicholas and Catherine Evanish, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Andriko, Sr., whom she married in 1950, her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

Betty was involved for many years with Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Christian Mothers, and frequently volunteered at St. Joseph Parish in Duquesne, PA. She made lifelong memories and friendships working in a pharmacy for 45 years, first at Ayres Pharmacy in McKeesport, then at Penn Taft Pharmacy in West Mifflin, finally retiring at age 87. She lived 70 years in her own home, spoiling her cat, spending time with neighbors, and completing hundreds of word puzzles. She remained active even after moving to New Kensington to live with her son.

Betty was outgoing, generous, caring, and funny. She is survived by her son Louis (Susan) Andriko, Jr.; grandchildren MaryElizabeth (John) Andriko-Moore, Kathryn (Joseph) Morosky, both of Pittsburgh, PA; and Michael (Jessi) Andriko, of Elkins, WV.  She dearly loved her great-grandchildren, Sabine Andriko-Moore and Nikola Andriko, and was eagerly looking forward to meeting another great-grandson due in April.

Carol Fay (Dalton) Neyman, 89 of Dravosburg, passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2023, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh on February 27th, 1933, to the late James and Leona (Mayer) Dalton. Carol was the loving wife of many years to the late Leroy Neyman, Sr. She is survived by her daughters Carolee (late James H.) Burns of White Oak, Lori (Jace) Younge of Elizabeth Township, and her sons Wayne (Twila) Neyman of Dravosburg and Leroy (Claudette) Neyman, Jr. of Elizabeth Township. Further survivors include sister Beverly LaManna of Baldwin, as well as her loving grandchildren Shanne, Wayne, Dale, Abbey, Cody, Kayla, Kerri, Dane, Dillon, Ty, and Kacie. She is additionally survived by great-grandchildren Aiden, Colton, Maddox, Easton, Spence, Sophia, Nolan, Josie, Lane, Lake, and Myka, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen McCall and brother Thomas Dalton. She enjoyed playing the organ, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, visiting her cabin in Tionesta, and playing cards. She was also known to go swimming and walking with her friends. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 19th, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. A service will take place at 10 AM on Friday, January 20th, 2023, at the Saints Joachim and Anne (formerly the Queen of the Rosary Parish), located at 530 Michigan Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. Loving mom of Robin (Kevin) Barcus, Glenn (Gina) Stoll and William Stoll jr. Special grandma of 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Special sister to Andrew Macey Sr. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and all who loved her.

Glenda was a light in the world. Always wearing a smile on her face everywhere she went. She enjoyed taking pictures and spending time with family. She made people feel special, always remembering any important event with cards and messages. She enjoyed writing daily in her journals and living her life for the Lord. Glenda was a member of Harvest Church in Derry, PA.

Donna Lee Stetar, of Port Vue, peacefully passed on January 12, 2023, at the age of 86, with her loving children at her side. Donna was the devoted wife of the late Patrick Stetar Sr. Loving mother of Victoria (Eric) Stetar-Logan, Kimberly Ann (Robert) Stetar-Platz, Ricky Alan (Cheryl) Stetar; adoring grandmother of 8 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Painter, brother, James Farrow, many other relatives, and many friends. In addition to her husband, Donna was preceded in passing by her son, Patrick J. Stetar Jr., parents, James and Laura Ann (Nelson) Farrow, and sister, Audrey Hreha.

Donna had a heart of pure gold. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker, who raised 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Her family was the most important part of her life. She loved them all dearly, and they will miss her all deeply.

Chad’Juan Maurice Neal Sr., of Duquesne, was born August 4, 1993, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the beloved son to Jenica Randolph and the late Carloto Rarji Neal Sr.

Chad’Juan departed this life on January 8, 2023, at West VA Medical Center.

Chad graduated from East Allegheny High School where he played football and basketball. He furthered his education at All State School of Business for Welding. He also worked at Arch Masonry for brick laying. Chad’Juan attended church with his family at Trinity Church of God In Christ in McKeesport. He was in the youth choir and a junior usher.

Chad’Juan had a smile that would light up a room! He enjoyed listening to music and watching or attending sports events. Most importantly, Chad’Juan loved his children and his family. He will be truly missed.

Glenn Albert Peterson, 94, of McKeesport, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 to be reunited with his late wife and daughter. He was born July 7, 1928 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Albert and Ethel May (Sykes) Peterson.  Glenn was the husband of the late Loretta L. (Heath) Peterson who passed away in 1972.   He was a US ARMY Veteran and served during the Korean War as a Corporal in Japan. Glenn was a hardworking individual, who worked for US Steel in McKeesport from 1947 until 1983, where he retired as a production supervisor. He went on to work part time after his retirement for AC Nielson for several years to keep himself busy. He also enjoyed playing golf, dancing and going on vacations.  Glenn was known for his big heart, politeness, kindness, responsibility for his family, and integrity. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Doris (Opfer) Kerchner, age 85, of Augusta, KS, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was a medication aide for the elderly in nursing facilities in Kansas. A member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, she was a member of the Old Timers Fiddlers' Association and a life member of the Kastan Uveges VFW Post 7632 in Elizabeth. She enjoyed doing puzzles and crossword puzzles, fishing and camping, and most of all being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born June 6, 1937 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah (Harrison) Opfer and wife of the late John W.E. Kerchner Sr. She is survived by daughters, Vanness (Don) Lehmkuhl of Simi Valley, CA, Nelda (Raymond) Darwin of Augusta, KS, and Sarah Moreno of Herington, KS; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Ralph (Janice) Opfer of Riverview, MI; close family friend, Wesley Batch of North Carolina; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, John W.E. Kerchner Jr. and George Scott Kerchner, and siblings, Theodore Opfer, John Opfer, Howard Opfer, Harry Opfer and Luella "Sis" Opfer.
