Peg was a former employee of the Standard Observer and former tax collector for Hempfield Township. Mary Jane (Reese) Castellow, age 75, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. She was born January 29, 1941 in St. Mary’s, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Moore) Reese. She was a physical therapist in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and went on to create a physical therapist program at the Tarrant County College in Hurst, Texas. She is survived by her son Glenn (Mary) Castellow of Kill Devil Hills, South Carolina; two grandchildren; brother Harmon W. (Ruth) Reese; niece Kathryn I. He was born November 21, 1936 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Eugene and Mary Dilla and was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. He was a retired baking supervisor for Braun Baking Co., Pittsburgh and a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irwin. Jerry enjoyed spending time at his cabin on the Allegheny River and loved to fish. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict era. He is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Shirley A.
