Terry S. Frye, 65, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home. He was born November 19, 1957, a son of the late Earl and Doris (Crowe) Frye.  Terry was a sales associate for Macy's Department store with 40 years of service and a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of '76.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lee, and sister-in-law, Patricia.  He is survived by his niece, Heather Frye (Robert Turney); nephew, Matthew Frye (Angela); great nieces and nephew, Sierra, Everlee and Isaiah; cousins, Brian and Rick Crowe.  Terry wanted to thank all of those wonderful people he met.  Especially those at Macy's Herald Square, Monroeville and Westmoreland, especially Michele, Natalie and Beth.  Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Terry.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements made by the James W. Rosario Vincent Stabile

Rosario Vincent "Vince" Stabile, 46, of Pittsburgh, set himself free Sunday, December 25, 2022. He was born February 27, 1976 in Indiana, PA, son of Marlene Joyce (Shufran) Stabile and the late Rosario Louis Stabile, and grew up in North Huntingdon, PA. Vince worked for Dick's Sporting Goods. He was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School Class of '94, where he holds the all-time record in Track for the Triple Jump and held the longtime record for the Long Jump, for which his record is now 3rd place, and he also played Basketball. Vince earned his undergraduate degree from IUP where he graduated top of his Business Class, and earned his MBA from Point Park University. Vince also strived to achieve a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is survived by his mother, Marlene Stabile; his daughter, Ava Stabile; his sister, Dorey Stabile (Simon Alexander); and best friend Tim "T" Carr. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and a memorial service be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642.

Walk, 54, of Ligonier, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at UPMC Mercy Hospital.  She was born, January 26, 1968 in McKeesport, a daughter of Donna Jones Beech and the late Bernard Beech.  Karrie was a machine operator for AMI.  She was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of '87 and enjoyed drawing and reading Stephen King books.  She is survived by her son, Jesse Walk; brother, Brandon and his wife, Dana; sister, Evie and her husband, Craig; and her feline companion, Pixie.  Friends will be received from 2-5 p.m. on Thursday at the James W. Karen J. Clark, 77, of Hahntown, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022.  She was born June 23, 1945 in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Daniel and Jean Kessler.  Prior to her retirement, Karen worked for Fisher Body in security and  production. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis Presley, visiting the casinos and playing the lottery.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Brown.  She is survived by her life partner, Jamel Solomon; son, James Clark; daughter, Angela Souarit and her husband, Sonny, and Robin Lender; grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Robert, Riley, Randy, Erin, Autumn, Dylan, Dallys; and five great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the James W. Charlotte Cecelia (Renda) Pivarnik

Charlotte Cecelia (Renda) Pivarnik, age 79 of North Huntingdon died peacefully December 17, 2022 at Forbes  Hospital. She was born February 23, 1943 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Bruno and Ethel Vargo Renda.  She was  a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, a stay at home mom, a homemaker and a PTA mother until she was 41 years old. She attended computer school where she completed certification. She worked at Mellon bank until retiring. She was the beloved wife of Steven M. Pivarnik for 56 years.; cherished mother of two amazing children, Jeff Pivarnik and Jamie Pivarnik (wife Renee). Also survived by the LOVES OF HER LIFE,  her two precious grandchildren, Mason and Maddox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brother in laws, George and Richard Pivarnik, and her three sister in laws, Jackie Pivarnik, Vicky Pivarnik and Jo Ellen Renda. She is survived by her only brother, Rick Renda  (Peg) and several nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Charlotte loved family, fine dinners, hot weather , dancing with her husband and enjoying time with friends. She was well known member of the Norwin community and was loved by all,  Visitation will be held at the  James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Tues 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Blessing service will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel  followed by entombment at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum. She was born October 7, 1925, a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Tretinik. Prior to her retirement, Magdalene worked for Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church in Herminie and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Nagy. Joel T.  Mance, 64, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. He was born October 28, 1958 a son of the late Thomas V. and Mildred (Gongaware) Mance. Joel was a 1976 graduate of Norwin Sr. High School and attended Penn State University prior to starting his career as a traveling operator for Duquesne Light Company, for which he earned 38 years of service before retirement. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Irwin and could always be counted on to help friends, family and neighbors in need. He was an excellent cook, baker, talented artist and avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and especially hunting grouse in his favorite woods in Indiana County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Neil Mance and grandparents, Valentine and Rosa (Sajovitz) Mance and H. Glenn and Elva (Gress) Gongaware. He is survived by his wife, Diane Duffy Mance; children, Forrest and Elizabeth Mance of North Huntingdon; brothers, Val (Marilyn) of Sugar Loaf, Pa., Dale of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anna Yuhasz Nee, 101, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Juniper Village, Forest Hills, PA.  She was born December 3, 1920 in Glen Jean, WV, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Kish) Yuhasz.  Prior to her retirement, Anna was a bank teller for Mellon Bank and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, James Nee; brother Julius Yuhasz; sisters, Margaret Petruska and Rose Whittinghill; and much loved and special  niece, Margaret Ann Zeher.  She is survived by her nieces, Rosalie Vojtas, Kathleen Sczepanski and Teresa (Ted) Jacob; numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the James W.  Thomas R. Pinge, 90 of North Huntingdon died December 1, 2022 at home. He was born June 23, 1932 in Braddock, a son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Baker Pinge. Tom was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army, member of American Legion Post 359 in Irwin. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Edgar Thompson Works in Braddock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary, a brother George, two sisters Viola Zugaro and Ruth Morley. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Ann Zydel and her husband Glen and Mary Hartz, three grandchildren, Zachary Zydel, Frank Hartz and Megan Rodriguez. Friends will be received at the James W.
