Rudolph C. Sallinger, age 92, of North Huntingdon, formerly of White Oak, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at home. A Korean War Army veteran, he retired as a plant foreman for Kennametal in North Huntingdon. He was a member of the White Oak VFW and enjoyed volunteering at the Rose Garden in Renziehausen Park in McKeesport. Born November 13, 1929 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Rudolph E. and Marie (Waneck) Sallinger and husband of the late Pauline (Ehrenfeld) Sallinger. He is survived by his sons, David C. (Mary Beth) Sallinger of Penn Hills and Steven E. (Mimi) Sallinger of North Huntingdon; granddaughter, Dr. Elizabeth Sallinger; grandson, Nicholas (Gabriella) Sallinger; stepdaughter, Darla (Gary) Pirillo of Sutersville; stepson, Maynard Ehrenfeld of Texas; step-grandchildren, Justin (Gianna) Pirillo, Jenna (Dale) Hutchinson and Rod (Erin) Ehrenfeld; daughter-in-law, Michelle Rivas of Springfield, IL; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabelle (O’Hare) Sallinger, and son, Richard A. Sallinger. No visitation is planned. Albert J. Siler, Jr., age 93 of West Mifflin, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born August 30, 1928, he was a son of the late Albert J. Siler, Sr. and Ellen V. (McGowan) Siler.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - Holy Spirit Church in West Mifflin, Albert worked at US Steel's Homestead Works, was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the AARP Chapter #1612 in Clairton.  He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Suzanne (Harrigan) Siler; his sons Daniel (Nadine) Siler of Claridge and David (Maryann) Siler of St. John's, FL; his daughters Linda  (James) Wolfe of Moon Twp., Karen (Thomas) Welfer of Robinson Twp., and Kristin (John) Selnekovic of Robinson Twp.; his six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; his sisters and brothers, Rose M. (James) Sedley of Mt. She was a former employee for Headstart in Elizabeth. She was a former member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp., a member of the Daughters of the America Revolution, a former seamstress, and a friend to anyone she met. John F. Kwiecinski, age 75, of Baldwin, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital. He was an Army Reserve veteran and a retired business analyst for Indspec Chemical Corporation in Pittsburgh. He was a member of Bridge City Church in White Oak where he was a member of the Men's Connection group. He enjoyed traveling and trips to his camp in Pymatuning and being a snowbird in Florida. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born September 12, 1946 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Harry and Rose (Shebeth) Kwiecinski. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jane (Byers)  Kwiecinski; daughters, Connie (John) Lakovic of White Oak and Sally (John Domer) Lasica of Port Vue; son, George F. A former mayor of Elizabeth Borough, he was a retired maintenance supervisor for Eastman Chemical Company in West Elizabeth and a member of Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge No. 526 in Elizabeth. Born October 10, 1946 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late John William and Beverly Wilma (Leach) Householder and husband of the late Joyce (Chapman) Householder. He is survived by sons, Allen David (Ida) Householder of Cranberry Twp. and Charles Andrew Householder of Elizabeth; stepdaughters, Paula Jo Cridge of Carnegie and Terri Lynn Cridge of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Emma Arwyn Householder and Lachlan Alexander Householder; also, nieces, nephews and aunts. A Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a retired electrical engineer for Capintec Inc. in Pittsburgh. He was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church where he enjoyed volunteering. Born June 11, 1949 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Openshaw) Barlow. He is survived by his sister, Sarah Barlow Kennedy of Grove City; sister-in-law, Betsy Barlow of Addison; also, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Sr. Lucille Toth, SDR, age 96, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 in the Divine Redeemer Motherhouse, Elizabeth Twp.  Born November 23, 1925 in Cleveland, OH, she was a daughter of the late Emery and Margaret (Szinai) Toth.  Sr. Lucille received her BS in Education from St. John College and also an associate's degree in business administration from Robert Morris University.  She worked as a teacher, in the business office at the Divine Redeemer Memorial Hospital in St. Paul, MN, and as treasurer for the Villa St. Teresa in Darby.  In her spare time, Sr. Lucille enjoyed reading, watching "Jeopardy" and "Little House on the Prarie," comic strips in the newspaper, and had a lovely singing voice.

Lewis, age 50 of Dravosburg and formerly of Clairton, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH.  Born June 16, 1972 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of Frank Lewis of Titusville, Pamela (Kim) Eggleston of Monongahela, and step-son of Wilbert (Connie) Harrison of Liberty Boro. 

Daryl was a truck driver for Walshak Trucking of Pittsburgh.  In addition to his parents, he  is survived by his wife Tanya Parsons Lewis; his children Amanda (Steven) Mullen of Poinciana, FL, Tyler Lewis of Monongahela, Matthew and Olivia Lewis of McKeesport, Aaron Mathews of Ambridge, Kally Sloan and Tevin George of Clairton, Dakota Sloan, Sakia, Shyann, Jallelle, and Lillian Lewis, Skylor Bennett, and Serenity and Mikael Lewis of Dravosburg; his three grandchildren; his brothers Frank Lewis, Jr., T.J. Born March 20, 1928 in West Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late George and Marie (Smith) Spahr and wife of the late George M. "Pete" Magiske. She is survived by daughter, Frances Faust of Jefferson Hills; granddaughters, Lea Ann (Russell) Matich of Elizabeth and Jo Ann (David) Dushack of Jefferson Hills; great-grandchildren, Ryan Matich, and Michael, Aiden and Riley Dushack; great-great-grandson, Carson; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Marynchack and Dorothy Farmerie, and brothers, George, Don and John Spahr. John L. Ruhl, age 97 of West Mifflin and formerly of the Wilson section of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville.  Born September 7, 1924 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Edwin C. and Martha C. (Frietsch) Ruhl.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Holy Spirit Church in West Mifflin, John worked for 38 years at US Steel, Clairton Works in the batteries, the hearth department, in plant protection, and finally going to plant safety.  He was also a member of a barber shop quartet in McKeesport, the Holy Spirit Parish choir, and a former member of the US Steelworkers Union and Plant Protection Local.  Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, the late Helen P. (Dolansky) Ruhl, who passed away February 14, 2020, and his siblings Gloria Allerton and Phillip and Paul Ruhl.  He is survived by his children Mary Martha (Joseph) Yakubsin of Moon Twp., Patricia L. (Bill) Thomas of Valencia, John Ruhl, Jr. of California, and James A. (Donna) Ruhl of Liberty Borough; his twelve grandchildren J.R. An Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he retired from the hot mill at US Steel Irvin Works. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Antique Bottle Club and enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts. He loved working and taking care of his home. Born September 26, 1950 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Michael and Emma (Barnocki) Cherepko. He is survived by his children, Cristina (Jim) Ausburn of Port Vue, Edward (Rebecca) Cherepko Jr. of Lincoln Borough, Dawn Cherepko of Buena Vista and Penny (Jack) McCombs of Liberty Borough; grandchildren, Matthew, Deana, Jamie, Ashley, Anthony, Zachary and Edward R.
