Bernice M. (Rittko) Mycka, age 99 of North Versailles, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was born September 5, 1918 in Braddock, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Petrick) Rittko. She was one of the founding mothers of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport. She worked as a cosmetologist styling hair in her own home before working in sales at the JcPenny Store for over 20 years at the Eastland Mall. She was a loving mother that was proud of her kids, grandchild, and great-grandsons. She is survived by her children Damian Mycka of North Versailles and Elizabeth Spernak of Monroeville; granddaughter Jennifer (Ryan) Pattan; and great grandsons Wyatt, Levi and Bode. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years Stephen R. Mycka; daughter Judith Mycka; and brothers Charles, Raymond and Irvin Rittko. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport. Private entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in North Versailles. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1313, 5th Ave., East McKeesport, PA 15035.
