Catherine J. Yanatovic, age 96, of McKeesport, died August 12, 2017, at The Palm's at O'Neil. Born May 5, 1921, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Julia (Cetejanin) Dujmic and the wife of the late Milan (Patches) Yanatovic.

Catherine was retired from the J.C. Penney Co., where she worked in the accounting department. In her early years she worked at US Steel, also in the accounting department. She was a former member of the St. Mary Romanian Byzantine Rite Church, in McKeesport. She is survived by a niece, Joan Nancy Russo of Brooklyn, OH and a dear friend Daniel Majzer of McKeesport. In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was preceded in death by her siblings, Ann Pupich, Marie Slabodnik, Frances Rendulic Zortach, Cecelia Dujmic and Steve Dujmic. Services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, 10 a.m., at the St. Mary Romanian Byzantine Rite Church, with Fr. Matthew Elanjileth officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Mary Romanian Byzantine Rite Parish, 318 26th St., McKeesport, PA 15132. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
