Judith A. Evans, 76, of North Huntingdon, departed this earth April 11, 2024. She was born June 10, 1947 in Mckeesport and was the youngest of six children and the only girl to the late John Elmer and Viola Rosetta (Bookamer) Evans. In her youth she was an accomplished gymnast, training locally at Turner’s Gym nearly qualifying for the US Olympic Team in 1968. Until recently, Judy ran her own successful business having to retire for health reasons. She is survived by her daughters, Kristin Carlson of Penn Trafford, Kate (Jason) Zavacky of White Oak, brother Thomas (Diane) Evans of Port Vue, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Kirk Carlson, former spouse Michael A. Carlson, and brothers Jack Arnold Evans, William E. Evans, James Douglas Evans, and Robert Bruce Evans. She will be remembered for bringing an energy to everything she did. Judy would like you to cherish all the good times you shared together. There will be no public visitation. James W. Ronald Minnich

Ronald A. Minnich, age 67 of North Huntingdon, passed away on April 9, 2024, at his home.  He was born in Wilkinsburg on April 8, 1957, a son of the late Joseph and Helen Mazur Minnich.  Ron was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Irwin, and a graduate of East Allegheny High School.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a delivery driver for FedEx.  Above all, Ron was a family man.  He always looked forward to watching his grandchildren compete in baseball, softball, wrestling, and karate.  Ron also loved to fish and attend car shows.  In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother Stevie Minnich.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Christine, son Ron (Natalie) Minnich, daughter Kourtney McGonigle (Brian), brothers Tim (Sue) Minnich, Michael (Carol) Minnich, sister Vicki Slepsky (Barry), and grandchildren Slater, Asher, Ava, and Anthony.  Friends will be received at the James W. John J. Lubinski

John J. Lubinski, 89, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Harrison City, formerly of North Huntingdon and Uniontown, died peacefully Friday, April 5, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 20, 1934, in Westmoreland City, a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Gubanich) Lubinski. Before moving to Uniontown, John was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh for 30 years and achieved his goal of becoming the Managing Executive Chef. He was a Certified Executive Chef and a member of the American Academy of Chefs and the culinary organization The Honorable Order of the Golden Toque. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards and fishing when he retired and was a member of several sportsman clubs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Lubinski. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Marjorie (Katchur); three children John, Lynn (Richard) Allison, Karen (George) Martin; grandchildren Jason (Crystal) Melkon, Britney (Nick) Napolitano and Gracie Martin; great grandchildren Roman and Sophia Napolitano; sisters Betty Jane Lubinski and Marlene (John) Moore. Raymond McGowan

Raymond A. McGowan, age 80, of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh on September 14, 1943, the Son of the late Sara and Charles McGowan.  He was the beloved Husband for 30 years of Camille Burke-White McGowan; loving father of Mark (Anne) McGowan, Craig (Shannon) McGowan, Tara (David) Heidenreich, and JoLynn (Jason) Janosko; Grandpap of Connor and Ian McGowan, Elijah, Ezra, and Ava Heidenreich and Anna, Wyatt, Sophia, and Levi Janosko.  He is preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law Mary Virginia and John Logue, brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Lillian McGowan, sister-in-law Jean McGowan, and sister-in-law Irene McGowan.  He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Paul McGowan (Margaret), Phil McGowan, Edwin McGowan, Patrick McGowan (Micheleann), and numerous nieces, nephews, and his first wife, Lynn Alms.  Raymond served in the United States Army prior to being honorably discharged as a veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from Duquesne University and worked in the heavy highway field for the majority of his career.  He was a member of the Teamsters Local 341 Union.  Some projects he worked on include the Mon Valley Expressway and Pittsburgh International Airport.  Raymond also enjoyed traveling.  Some of his most memorable trips include: a 2017 trip to Coeur d'Alene, Iowa to view the eclipse, Serengeti Africa with his sons, Australia, and many trips to Europe.  Raymond was a joy to be around, with an easy-going nature and a deep sense of happiness derived from the company of his extensive family.  He delighted in both their presence and in sharing and celebrating their many accomplishments.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon PA, on Sunday, April 14 from 2-6 P.M. and Monday, April 15 from 3-8 P.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Agnes Church on Tuesday, April 16 at 10 A.M. with Interment to follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  The family would like to thank Bridges Hospice for their care and compassion shown to Raymond and his loved ones over the past four months. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com

Adam John Bilinsky, age 19 of North Huntingdon, passed away on Sunday, March 31 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh on January 4, 2005, a son of Alan and Kim Stern Bilinsky. Adam attended Norwin High School and he was currently enrolled in CCA, from where he was scheduled to graduate in June. He was a member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak. Adam loved riding quads and dirt bikes, he enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and cherished his time spent with friends.  Adam was a former member of cub scout pack 270 and boy scout Troup 284 and was an avid kayaker. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Elvira Bilinsky, uncle & godfather Darrell Stern, and uncle Randy Bilinsky. In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his brother Iris, sister Amelia, maternal grandparents Peggy and Darrell Stern, aunt & godmother Patty Stern, aunt and uncle Sherry and Mike Esasky, aunt Lea Stern and numerous additional great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Hilda M. Youngerman, age 81 of North Huntingdon, passed away on April 1, 2024 at RNC Greensburg. She was born on March 20, 1943 in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Newcomb Brown. Hilda enjoyed knitting and looked forward to playing bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ken Youngerman, son Ken Youngerman Jr., and daughters Lisa, Amy, and Jennifer. Paul Dzikiy, age 73 of North Huntingdon died March 29, 2024 at his home. He was born December 26, 1950 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Ortciger Dzikiy. Paul was a graduate of Edinboro University and attended Pitt and Penn State to further his education. He was a hard working, loving father who enjoyed sports. Growing up he played both baseball and basketball. Additional hobbies included bird hunting, fishing, golf and billiards. Prior to his retirement in 2009 Paul was employed by the East Allegheny School District. He taught 6th grade at Westinghouse and Title One Math at Green Valley School. Pat Ritter, 85 of North Huntingdon, died March 27, 2024 at Redstone Highlands, North Huntingdon. She was born February 11, 1939 in East Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Novak Sherman. Pat was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon.  Prior to her retirement, she and her husband, were the owners of Shop N Save , West Mifflin. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel, a brother, Al Sherman, a sister Gerry Legette. Harry D. Cramer, 91 of North Versailles died March 24, 2024, in William Penn Care Center. He was born January 17, 1933, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late David E. and Evelyn Moore Cramer. Prior to his retirement, Harry was employed as a Seargent for the Allegheny County Sherriffs Department. He was a veteran having served in the Korean War with the United States Marines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Jean Cramer and a brother, David C. Cramer. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, spending time at her camp, crafting, and gardening. Robert Donald Yates, 82, of Paintertown, passed away March 19, 2024, at Hempfield Manor. He was born March 24, 1941, in Greensburg, Pa., a son of the late Joseph and Hazel Painter Yates. Bob was the owner of Bob Yates Concrete Finishing Company and Sales. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and small engine repair. A proud veteran, Bob served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam as a Sergeant. He is survived by his first wife and friend, Joan Yates, his beloved daughter Lisa Marie Yates, sisters, Oletha "Bunny" Salopek (John) and Connie Clooney, one grandson, Christopher Joseph Yates. Charles E. Stanley, age 91, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday March 18, 2024, at his home. He was born May 10, 1932, in Prestonburg, Kentucky, a son of the late Fairbanks and Frona Mcown Stanley. He was a member of the Norwin Alliance Church and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing. Prior to retirement, Charles was an Electrician for General Motors with 22 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran serving with the 11th Airborne Division during the Korean War where he was the recipient of 3 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Hall Stanley, two sons, Charles K. Stanley and Dr. Gregory K. Stanley. Evelyn M. Galliford, 70, of North Huntingdon died March 17, 2024 at UPMC East. She was born November 13, 1953 in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late James and Edna Kunkle Burns. She was a member of Miller United Methodist Church. Prior to her retirement, was employed  as a billing and coding specialist at UPMC. She enjoyed cooking, canning, baking, camping, taking Sunday drives, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, James Burns III and sister, Helen E. Gamble. Patricia A. Lydon, age 80 of Larimer died March 16, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born June 2, 1943 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Poelcher Morch. Pat was a retired supervisor at PNC Bank. She was a member of Circleville Global Methodist Church. She was an active volunteer at the Larimer Volunteer Fire Department, St. John's United Church of Christ Food Bank and a supporter of White Oak Animal Safe Haven. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband John Hines, and second husband Richard "Swede" Dahlstrom. She is survived by her two sons Edward Hines (Sandy) and Jeffrey Hines (Debbie), grandson Nicholas Hines, and sister Paulette Wright.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the James W.
