By Finney Funeral Homes | Posted in: Finney Funeral Homes

Tiffany Ryan Bates (Super Tiff), sadly passed away on December 19, 2023. Tiffany had a penchant for all things creative. She was an insightful writer, a talented musician, and a lively thespian. She had a way with words that would make Webster himself blush. She was entirely devoted to her family, an incredible friend, a nurturing caretaker and a gifted giver who loved fiercely. Her humor brought lasting joy and smiles to everyone she met.

She is survived by her mother Marilyn (Lenny) Kmet and dad Thomas Kmet, brother and sisters; Matthew (Laura) Januszewski, Jillian Kmet, Ryan Bates, and Amber Bates. Her loving fiancé, Stephen Ketchum, who is responsible for making the last 7 years of her life her happiest. Also an array of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew, whom she adored. Her father, Brian Bates predeceased her.

Memorial service at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in her name.

If this life is meant to be lived to learn lessons and grow into your full authentic self, she achieved it. If this life is meant to be lived serving others and making the world a better place, she knocked it out of the park. Though the pain of her sudden departure is unbearable, we can take solace in the fact that her fiery spirit will never fade from our hearts and minds.

Feel the love, our little red-headed Super Tiff.
